about 8-9months back one Mr.Marimuthu of Aquastar had sold a Aquagaurd Ro System to my wife while I was on travel. The product was wronly suggessted knowing fully well the systems was to be connected to the Municipal water connection and not the ground water. The first issue was after the product was sold and payment collected the same was not installed for over 2-3 months, second problem was after installation the request for demonstartion of the product was not supported only after persistant follwo did the demonstarte the same which is when we got to know that this system would waste 3 litres of water for every one litre of purified water. When confornted they said this is a wrong buy as this is primarily to be used for ground water to remove salanity etc. I spoke to the propirtor and he confirmed the same and said he would not be able to replace this however could disconnect the RO function and convert it to be a UV filter thereby could avoid wastage of water. I had agreed to it and spent money to change that too even though I had invested 16 K for the RO system. After changing it to UV the system worked only for about 4-5 days and stopped working, since then my wife has been calling the company and the sales person to come and attend to the problem. While the promise and assure of immediate assistance no one has come yet to rectify the same. I have also made a complaint through the Aquagaurd callcenter and of no use.
This is a clear case of customer being wrongly guided , cheated of his money and being treated with higgest form of dis regards by not attending to the complaint by both the dealer and the manufacturer. I write this note seeking redressal as a consumer and firm action on the organisation which has no regards to the consumer.
