i bought eureka forbes RO in month on june 2010 for which the equipment was warrantied for 01 year that is upto 13/6/2011. after 06 months of operation it developed problem of no output water for which complaint was made and it was complied with change of membrane without payment. on 07 june 2011 a complaint of no output water was raised and it was informed by the technician that membrane is choked and it needs replacement that too on payment.
i asked that it is warranty i was informed that it can not be changed and according to the technician if the problem was upto nine month of purchase then only it can be replaced under warranty.
the critical finding in the service menu is that the equipment shall be service checkup free four times in the warranty period but is done only twice. in my case the last service was done after 06 months of purchase.
when contacted with The Eureka forbes manager he instead insisted for AMC of the machine which i had do you since water is most important thing in ones life.secondly he also told that water in my area is bad hence the membrane shall be clogging and company cannot give warranty for it.
i feel cheated by the attitude of the company and need your help in getting my grievances listened. the fault in the machine is only by improper preventive maintenance by the eureka forbes. secondly they have sold a wrong equipment to me since it not suitable to my water quality and precheck of input water quality should have been done before suggesting a particular water purifier machine. hence i feel that the equipment should be replaced by the company considering the fault on improper check ups and initial survey.
