Dear Sir,

I am a saving bank account holder of ICICI Bank Ltd, Dr. D N Road Branch, from the past 6 to 7 years.

On 7th May 2011 my debit card was captured by ATM Machine during my transaction of withdrawal of Rs. 4500/- and cash was also not tendered by the ATM Machine. In connection with this incident, I have made a complaint with ICICI Bank, customer care branch vide complaint no. SR176163960.

In this regards, I wish to bring to your kind attention that more than one and half months have passed but the Bank has not yet resolved this issue. Since I filed the complaint through e mail, I keep receiving mails from various Officers assuring that the matter will be resolved within next few days but there has been no solution as of date.

Given below are the response mails I have received from the Officers of the Bank.

9th June 2011
“Dear Mr. Vikamsey,
Greetings from ICICI Bank.
With reference to our telephonic conversation on June 09, 2011, I have taken a note of your query. The Service Reference Number is SR179552545. I assure you, that your concern is of top priority for us. I shall respond to you with an update on June 11, 2011. I appreciate and thank you for your patience in this regard.

“Dear Customer,
I understand your concern. According to Service Reference Number SR179552545, as per audit roll ATM transaction shows withdrawal was successful. Hence, we would be unable to reverse the amount from our end .ATM is also reconciled and there is no excess cash found in the ATM on dispute date .For more details we request you to visit any nearest ICICI Bank branch along with the Service Reference Number SR179552545.Looking forward to your co-operation in our endeavor to serve you better.

I am enclosing herewith my complaint letter for your ready reference:

“Dear Sir,

This is with reference to my complaint No. SR176163960 dated 7th May 2011 regarding captured my abovementioned Debit card by ATM Machine in ICICI Bank, Dr D N Road Branch ATM Machine .

In this regard I wish to inform you that I have received my above Debit Card from Regional Processing Centre along with your letter Ref. No. 13 dated 9th May 2011 and I am thankful for the same. Further I wish to draw your kind attention that the transaction amount of Rs. 4500/- is not yet reversed / credited to my account which was not completed since my ATM Debit card was captured by ATM Machine.

I therefore request you to please look in the matter and arrange to credit/reverse my abovementioned transaction immediately and inform me accordingly.
