Have purchased the aquaguard compact in 2007, have been getting the contract renewed every year thereafter. this year too have a annual maintenance contract and was contacted in Jan,was out of the house for a month and a half as mother was operated, also I did not have the number of the person who generally provided the serive as my hand-set gave way. There was noo followup from the service provider. I called in the third week of june after getting the 24x7 number and was provided one service and then told that I will have to forgo my second service. The reason for my nonavailablity was genuine, my contention is when you can make 4-6 calls for the reewal check how can you conviniently forget to follow up service due dates keeping the onus on the customer.I am working and have a 5am to 11pm day, with multiple tasks and responsibilities. I do not remember things like this, it is no excuse but my only contention is the attitude of the local service provider. The chap told me had I not called they would have contacted me for the renewal check, also when I made a complaint to 39883333 regarding the same matter and later spoke to the above number I was told that the is no point complaining as the deciding authority is the local service provider. How can such a big company have such unprofessional service providers? Why should a consumer suffer in such case? And how is it that they remember without fail to collect the annual maintenance and fail to remember about the service not provided?
