Complaint Details
I had ordered for an Aquaguard Reviva model on 29th of April 2011. This was as per the recommendation of the Eureka Forbes Sales Engineer, wherein he measured the hardness of water and recommended that I will need an RO model. The water measured had a TDS of 417.
Once the water filter has been installed, I asked the service engineer to measure the filtered water and he gave me a reading of 15.
Subsequently I had several communications with the sales people and finally logged a request for a Lab Test by Eureka Forbes. The lab test report indicated a TDS of 17.
I raised an issue with the Eureka Forbes internal redressal mechanism and even after multiple escalations, I have not got any reply.
The issues are as below
•I have been wrongly sold a product which I really do not need
•The product package recommends the use of that model for TDS ranges between 500-2000, which is not true in my case.
•This equipment which I use, poses serious health hazards because of loss of minerals(REFER: http://www.who.int/water_sanitation_health/dwq/nutdemineralized.pdf).
I will be happy to provide any documentation needed for supporting my case.
