I ordered a book " Mathematics for Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Advanced) Calculus by G. Tewani " from Amazon.in on 09.05.2019. Firstly the book was sold on MRP plus an additional amount of 99Rs. was charged as delivery charges ( for standard delivery).
On enquiring the amazon care services that the delivery charges were not in accordance with those listed on Amazon, I got response that this was a seller fulfilled order, means seller himself will arrange the delivery and so he is charging 99 and not amazon. Even though the book was dispatched on 10.05.2019, estimated delivery date was 22.05.2019. I was not even able to track the item through the given tracking ID. After waiting till 22nd may, I mailed the seller (Suraj Trading) asking about the reason for delay and current status of my order. I got the response:
" Your order was held at booking office by shipping company due to invoice related confusion.
We have sorted the issue few days back and asked shipping company to escalate the movement of shipment so it reaches you on asap. This held created a breach of few days in movement of shipment."
The estimated delivery date was updated as 28.05.2015 on Amazon.in. Even then I received the order on 29.05.2019. after delivery, I posted a review on amazon stating my experience as following:
"Terrible delivery services

I was charged INR 99/- for the delivery of this book to Delhi. Even after paying this much I got the book delivered week after the estimated delivery date."

Next day I receive a mail from Amazon.in that my review could not be posted on Amazon.in as it does not meet the review guidelines on Amazon.
