Complaint Details
I became a member of Club Link in the year 5/10/2000 paying a fee of Rs. 25000 and on the 6/11/2000 the sum of Rs. 100,000 which was the family fee.

The Club never took off!!

Subsequently, i wrote to tthem, letter dated 28/5/2004 to please refund my money, keeping iin mind the interest lost all these years.

Mr. Malhotra accepted my appeal, after which i had a meeting with Mr. Ashok Pandit, who said they cannot refund, but i could transfer my membership, i was also told by the then Secretary Ms. Shilpa, that i need to pay only 50% of my outgoings as i had not utilized the same at any time which i agreed to once a member was found.

Unfortunately, as i am working full time, i could not persue the matter to the fullest, all conversations took place by phone calls, at some point i also requested Mr. Pandit to convert my membership to senior citizen, but he refused.

Now i am informed that the club is closing down, and members are being refunded their monies, but i am entitled to nothing as i have defaulted on my dues!!.

Mr. Pandit is extremely rude and refuses to entertain any me at all with regard to our earlier meetings or correspondence, has be forgotten my loss all these years?

I have also tried to explain that i am a cancer patient and the money would really help me but Mr. Pandit just will not see reason and has told me very rudely not to call or try to speak to him again.

Please guide me in this matter, in whatever is justified as my rights.
