Complaint Details
I am V Manikandasaran from Chromepet, Chennai, considering the reliability of your brand i planned to go for a water purifier, regarding this i have called your customer care centre on 11th July 2011 and requested for a recommendation on appropriate product based on our water condition and its price – the reference number is 150265406. On 12th July 2011. Mr Manogar (98405-41744) and Mr Manivannan came to my residence and discussed about our requirement. Finally they have recommended Enhance RO+ water purifier product. During our discussion i have clearly told that i definitely purchase this product but only during 1st week of August 2011. But they have insisted to purchase immediately and told that offers like free installation and free two annual services (addition to two services) going on, for this i have clearly indicated my position and requested them to wait till 1st week of August 2011.
After this i have received two to three calls on a daily basis from Mr Manogar till 22nd July 2011 and he has created a tremendous pressure. This totally disturbed and annoyed me. To clarify this offers, i called Mr Yuvaraj (98846-74767) and discussed this, he in turn confirmed that no offers like this and these offers are permanent, the same was also confirmed by your call centre during this time. Finally he suggested to call Mr Chandrasekaran (94434-89407), branch incharge of Pallavaram Office (Chennai) ( reporting manager for Mr Manogar ) i have called him and conveyed this, he is also insisted me to book immediately and assure no problem will arise. I have requested to arrange for a TDS meter and check the salt level of the water and recommend the appropriate product before booking.
Based on his recommendation, assurance and pressures i called Mr Manogar on 22nd July 2011, they came and checked the water level and finally recommended Enhance RO + and i have paid Rs.1001/- vide cheque number 053326 and dated 22nd July 2011(Bank – ICICI bank) and requested him to deliver the material on 25th July 2011 and installation on 28th July 2011 (based on the good day). Mr Manogar assured this and collected a advance payment and asked to me to arrange for a balance Rs.10998/- ( post dated cheque dated 2nd August 2011 ) immediately.
Kindly note that Mr Manogar only recommended this advance and balance payment option. Whereas i am interested to settle this fully during 2nd August 2011.
On 25th July 2011 evening i called Mr Manogar and reminded this and he replied that any time material will be delivered to my residence, i called around 9.45 pm and clarified this, he replied that Eureka Forbes logistics peoples (TCI Logistics) are in the process of delivering the materials in your godown and no material will deliver today. Immediately i have recommended to arrange delivery and installation on 28th July 2011, he has also agreed this.
When i check this Mr Manogar on 27th July 2011, he said that your courier office is not reachable and told that he has tried multiple times and given me the courier office number, my order number (254029731) and asked me call and check. On behalf of him i have also called that number (044-64610201) and i got the same reply (not reachable) response. Immediately with the help of internet i called Mr Amarnath and Jayakumar (import godown) but no use.
When i checked this with Mr Chandrasekar he confirmed that the courier office was leave on 27th July 2011 and the material is expected to deliver on 29th July 2011. I called and sms many times to Mr Manohar to convey this message on 27th July 2011, till now no i didn’t receive any call or sms from him.
undergoing all the above pains, few doubts are arising in my mind :
1. As i predicted, i got numerous calls before i book the product, after booking no response to my calls – its pathetic, this clearly suspects your support and service after implementation. I am sure our life will be miserable
2. How come Mr Manogar not aware that the logistics office was not functioned 27th July 2011, whereas his reporting manager aware this and this is clearly
indicates they are misguiding the customers.
3. Why customers like us needs to call your logistics office for follow up the material delivery, do you feel that this our job ?
Considering all the sad experiences in the early state, i wish to cancel the order and requesting you to arrange to refund my advance amount Rs.1001/- at the earliest ( before this weekend )
