Complaint Details
We bought Aquagaurd Total Sensa (SMP+) on 10th November, 2009 wide
bill/Receipt No. 039661, from Eureka Forbes Limited, Hyderabad.
While purchasing this productr we were never told by the sales person of this company that filters working in this machine have some limited water purifying capacity. We were kept in dark by telling that only two services annualy are required to run this machine. Now this machine is giving foul smell in water coming through it, so service persons are telling to change five filters installed inside which will cost us Rs. 3600.00 and this is required after every 6000 ltr passage of water from filter installed in this machine. When we objected to it, saying that we were not informed this earlier, there reply was that " if salesmen start telling this to every customer then who will buy (by Mr. Prabhakar, Manager Customer Services, 09246593879)" which is clearly cheating with the customer by hiding the facts about the product.
Company have mentioned this in this in their booklet which is always kept inside the packing of the product and customer may see it only after installation, which also skips as we beleive the company of refute.
Please help us in resolving our case as company is rigid to charge for no fault of us and we would like to return this product to company and refund our money and also must be paid for the last one month of mineral bottles we are buying from outside as water through this machine is not drinkable due to foul smell.
