It is hereby informed that we had called the Aqua Guard Customer care helpline 39883333 on 22-07-2011 for purchasing a water purifier as our old one was not working properly as a result of a defective part in it, which was fitted by one of the Aqua Guard representatives. The representative Mr. Partap Kumar Patra (mobile no. 9999206692) visited our premises on 23rd July, 2011, after discussing with him we decided to purchase an Aqua Guard Sensa (SMP+) as it fulfilled our requirements. Mr. Patra agreed to deliver the new Aqua Guard sense (SMP+) in exchange of my old water purifier (worth Rs.20,000/= when it was purchased) , after adjusting an amount of Rs.1,000/= against it. With this condition of exchange offer , we placed the order for the purchase of a new Aqua Guard Sensa (SMP+) .
The new Aqua Guard Sensa (SMP+) was installed by Mr. Patra on 24-07-2011, but soon it was found that the unit is defective as it was not working satisfactorily which was evident from the TDS value of water. The TDS was more than 250 which is not in the normal range of potable water (60 – 120). We called him several times but he didn’t respond to us properly, he claimed that if some of its parts are replaced the machine will start working properly.
We lodged a complaint at customer care helpline about the defective unit. After repeated requests to several aqua guard executives viz. Mr. Patra (ph. 9999206692), Mr. Rawat (ph. 9810454719), Ms. Lucky(30580830) and Mr. Ashok( 30674963) no action has been taken so far. So it is again requested to replace the defective Aqua guard sensa (SMP+) with a new one by 5th August, 2011 failing which, I will stop my pending payments vide cheques no. (749609, 749610, 749611 of Central Bank of India, Delhi Branch) dated 10-8-2011, 10-9-2011, 10-10-2011 respectively. In the event of not replacing the unit my previous payment of Rs. 3000/- may be refunded and also my old R.O. system be returned to me at the earliest.
