Complaint Details
I bought an Eureka Forbes vaccum cleaner (Dry and Wet Model) around 25th July 2011. The next day when we tried to use it, it stops after 5 minutes of usage (though manual says we should not operate continuously for more than 30 minutes) causing frustration to the user. When tried to call the number mentioned above (given by the sales person) they replied there's no service person available and were asked to call back again. When we got the same reply, I had to visit their office personally and registered a complaint on 02-Aug-2011. They promised to send a service rep by next day. No one has visited to look into the issue yet though there are multiple reminders since then. There could not be a pathetic service than this by Eureka Forbes. I have been given extended lifetime warranty - which I think is of no use when they cannot take care of service the very first week. They do not seem to have any sense of customer problems. I have invested 11000 INR but unable to use this product.
