Dear Sir
I tushar lanjekar holding hdfc credit card from last 9 years, alternate account no. for the same is 0001019890002237866
beacuase of financial issues i have done settlement of outstanding amount in total 36500 6 emi total on december 2019
i have given 6 post dated cheques dated 15th of every month till may 2020
beacause of corana virus outbreak hdfc bank had stopped their working from 20 march till june
my cheque suppose to go for clearance on 15 april and 15 may which did not happend i had balance in my bank account for cheque clearance
hdfc started working in june and they have sent cheques fo clearance without intimation or any call, cheques got dishoured by bank as account balance was not available on 12th june 2020
now bank is saying settlement is lapsed cause of me. so they are asking to pay 40000 full amount to close the account
from october every other month my hdfc account is getting auto debited from bank as its home branch, from june to till date they have deducted total 10730
my hdfc account is again freezed by the bank
i have mailed to hdfc several times contacted many people from bank but no one is helping out to resolve i recently talk to nikhil vishwakarma (9022110787) he also given same response
it was not my fault that bank operations got effected by corona pandamic why i have to suffer for the it

please help me to resolve this and close the account as its not my fault hdfc should understand critical situations in pandamic and resolve but they are not ready

i am attaching settlement letter let me know if any other details required
