Complaint Details
This complaint refers to my request for FULL refund of ticket amount against the flights cancelled by Air India owing to COVID-19 pandemic. I booked a round trip flight for three passengers, Details are as follows- MR DEEPAK MISHRA (Ticket No 098-2132835670), MR UDAI PRATAP MISHRA (Ticket No 098-2132835675), MRS RAMA MISHRA (Ticket No 098-2132835672) and my Date of journey were as DEL-BBI on 07th May 2020 & BBI-DEL on 10th May 2020. As Air India cancelled these flights, I made multiple calls to Air India customer care to claim my refund, each time they put forward my matter to concerned team but i never get a response/refund. After waiting for atleast nine months, I made complaint to DGCA-New Delhi on 4th jan,2021, against Air India but still Air India is not refunding my fare back to me. I have attached full email conversation continuing with DGCA as well as with Air India to make it clear how Air India is delaying my refund? Its a humble request to you please do needful and instruct Air India to process my claim request as soon as possible. Looking forward for your favorable response. Amount paid- Rs. 25242/- Claimed Amount- Rs. 25242/- (as those flights were cancelled by Air India itself).
