I feel being cheated and a fraud has happened with me by so called Boat Lifestyle 2hich is being managed by Imagine Marketing India Limited.
To start with my grievance, I would like to personally quote my frustration and desperate measures I tried to get my product delivered.
I was always waiting for Boat, to launch a Dolby Atmos Soundbar even though there were quite a few soundbars online under the same price bracket earlier your release of the product. However I counted on Boat to be my choice.
The day it was launched (20th Feb 2021), I immediately went to Boat website and booked the Boat Aavante 4000DA soundbar by online payment of ₹ 14999/-.
Sir, am a working middle class man who likes to have some good things in life at a competitive price range.
My grievance and frustration started from 23rd Feb 2021 (3rd Day from booking the soundbar).
I was happy as the tracking details displayed the date of delivery as 23rd February 2021, but in few hours I received a mail and a SMS that the delivery has been delayed due to unknown reasons to me.
Till date the product is not been delivered and the date of delivery displays as pending and daily, the estimated date changes to the current date.
If I had ordered the same product from Flipkart, it would have reached me the next working day, however with Boat website order, its taking ages for a product to be delivered.
I have all the proof attached for your perusal. This includes the email from Boat and call records to customer support.
Am being assured that the product would be delivered but no one knows when. There is no definite timeline of delivery. Is this way Boat treats their customers who are loyal and trust your brand.
I even tried to cancel my order and asked for a refund so that I could order from Flipkart which would have been a better deal but unfortunately your customer support informed me that the product is packed and ready to be shipped so there cannot be any cancellations.
Am still awaiting for the delivery of the product. Its past 10 days and still the customer care responds by telling me to wait for 3 more days. This is ridiculous as everytime I called I was provided with same response. Is there not any monitoring management system in place to reduce the timeline of delivery and fulfil customer requirement.
Am waiting for 2 more days before proceeding for a police complaint and file a case in consumer court.
I have been mentally disturbed with this attitude of Boat authorities. My hard earned money is at stake with your company.
Hoping that this mail would help me and other customers who are going thru same frustration and mistrust.
