Complaint Details
I have booked flight of Egypt air from Mumbai to Cairo (booking no-NN7812254499740) . My flight date was 2 nd april 2021 and booking amount was 18268 INR .
But due to covid the flight of Egypt air was non operational as I called customer care of Egypt air and they told the flight is not operating. So I logged in MMT app in phone and clicked on the ' Refund ' button and chose the option 'Flight is not operational'. And I was sure I will get full refund because the flight was not operational and Egypt air itself cancelled all the flights . I did not cancelled the flight .
But today I got mail and SMS regarding my refund ,and I was completely shocked to see MMT issuing refund of 10617 INR, and MMT deducted 6852 INR cancellation fees where as I have not cancelled my flight AT ALL.
This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable . This FOUL practice done by MMT left me speechless . Please help me to get my full regund which I am entitled for .
