Complaint Details
I wanted to purchase water filter and Eurekaforbes being a good recognised brand in the market wanted to purchase it. I expected a good product from them. On 17th July 2011(Sunday), I requested for a demo online and immediately within few mins i received a call from eureka forbes executive asking my convenient time they can come for demo and got my address. I asked them if they were working on Sunday and they told they can come now if i want.I asked them to come for a demo.They called me several times and within couple of hours they reached my place.

I wanted to check with Total Enhance RO as i was quite impressed with the ads in the TV. They told that it was last day of some offer where they would give one additional filter free and the cost of the product was 11990 if i booked it today and after that it would be 12500.They just checked the water intensity and told that Total Enhance RO would be suitable for our house. They forced me to book the purifier on that day itself.I paid them advance of 500Rs. They promised me to deliver on 20th Jul (Wednesday). I waited on 20 and 21 but they did not come.I called the representative on 22 morning and he promised that he would deliver it today at any cost.Noone came and i called the person again on 23 but he did not receive my calls. His name is Ashok. I registered a complaint by calling the euro helpline. I was told by the customer service executive that the complaint will be attended in 24 hrs. I asked them to cancel the order since it was not delivered on time and asked for the refund back.I called on 24 again and they told its sunday and someone will get back to me tomorrow.I didnt receive any phone calls from them and even after repeated complaints no one even called to enquire.

I called them on 25,26,27,28 but the customer executive would tell that they will get back some response within that day. A customer executive named Arun picked my call 2 to 3 times. I asked the manager number for which he gave some incorrect mobile number and did not even updated my complaint.Finally on 29 morning, Thiruvitoyur area sales manager called me and i asked him to return my advance and i was no more interested in getting their product. He asked me the concerned representative name and number and told will call me back in 20 mins. I didnt receive any calls after that.I even complained in the website but nothing done so far.I have complaint 5 level steps in their website but its frustating that nothing has been addressed so far.

I have been calling the customer care often and everytime, the response I recd " We will get back to you in 24hrs" but in reality no one turns up. You will have to keep running behind them for this.

It has been pathetic and the worst experience i ever had. It is a fraud company and they has been taking customers for granted. They think we are fools. It is really frustating that we customers are not valued. The product delivery itself was delayed and not prompt then how can we expect the service of the product.

Action should be taken against such fraudulent companies so that they dont cheat innocent people and not take customers for granted.
