On 7th Oct,I and my wife booked for a Uber cab from KIAL Airport to our house at Cake Zone, HBR Layout, Bengaluru. Since it was late night, before booking we had asked Uber driver to take the main road and not the Unsafe village road to which the driver agreed and took the PIN to start the trip. After going 50mts, he stopped the cab and said he can only go via the village route which was Unsafe due to woman passenger. We said we cannot go via village route and he dropped us off at the same location where we started the trip and cancelled the trip.Instead of dropping to the Uber manager,he dropped us where there were group of Uber drivers who abused us that he could not have taken the main road. Later an Uber in-charge came and told the driver that he was wrong and booked us another trip and said that the previous trip will be refunded after raising a complaint with Uber. We raised several complaints with Uber atleast 7 times, however each time Uber has responded saying that the drop-off location and the fare is correct when the drop-off location is wrong and the drop-off location was the same as pick-up location, hence the trip did not complete but was cancelled by the driver. Now Uber is refusing to accept the trip fare issue inspite of explaining that the drop-off location is wrong .
