Complaint Details
Bought a water purifier "Infinity" from above sales person 3 months back. Initially it took more than month to install the unit. Then installation engineer or plumber mislead me to make piping to bore-well water connection as recommendation from Eureka Forbes. I had to pay Rs 450 extra for the fittings. Recently neighbor tested the water quality and found bore well water is not drinkable so it appears wrong installation, misleading was to extract 500 rupees. So instead fitting to corporation water tap 3 inches away from the water purifier location, pipe connection were made to access bore well/corp water taps 3 feet away. Such risky recommendation is not expected from org of repute.
Forget about risk that my family took drinking hard water on the recommendation of the installation engineer. Now i want Eureka Forbes to correct this installation and take back the fitting, pay me rs 450 and replace the cartridges spoiled [if any] because of this UV filter fitment to bore well water.
Refer to service request raised that resulted no action from Eureka Forbes.
Now extra money is asked to correct the installation.
Also as of date [2+ months] I have yet to receive tax invoice of the goods.
