Complaint Details
I had purchased a Sofa paying Rs 13721 from Pepperfry.com website, Before ordering the item I had checked Pepperfry.com website throghly for their refund and return policy and over phone confirmed on product quality with their executive Ms Alfiya. Whereas as after online payment the company issued an invoice mentioning different terms and conditions as they are not responsible for the warranty and product return, the product supplied to me is damaged item and they used poor quality plastic item, and materials.As per website and thier executive Ms Alfiys their executive the description of the product was good quality wooden frame and cushion whereas as it's poor quality plywood and legs are made of plastic and instead of cushion they used soft thermocoal material. As per the website Pepperfry.com allowed return of product but later after payment they issued different terms and conditions in invoice. Now they are not ready for refunding. Kindly do the needful and interven in this matter as they are cheating public by exhibiting false advertisements in their website.
