Complaint Details
Fraud link sent by email for renewal of Netflix subscription. Mb got hacked and Fraud copied all data entered in mb. Amount was not filled-in by me. The embedded appln copied everything from mb incl OTP. I was not aware of the fraud...until I recd the SMS (at the end)indicating the debit to my cr card.
SHOCKED, I CONTACTED THE BANK IN THE NEXT MINUTE. SHOCKINGLY THE BANK DID NOTHING AND THE AMT HAS GONE...WHERE I DO NOT KNOW, AS bank has not informed details even after repeated letters and Twitter messages.

Police complaint lodged (FIR), no progress.

THE MONEY COULD HV BEEN STOPPED/BLOCKED and returned.Now 6 months are gone...no trace, no info.

The bank insisted on payment and threatened to charge 30%interest on full amount...even if, Part amount is paid. So, paid under duress.
Request you to get the trxn cancelled and amt returned with 30% interest.

My son, Ashwin, was the victim. It happened on 21jan22 at Mumbai.

Hoping for your intervention. Willing to give clarifications.
