Dear Sir/Madam,

I purchased a Duplex Canon Copier from Lalani Innovations Pvt. Ltd. on 29.11.2024 for an amount of Rs. 68,450/-.

During the warranty period, the machine functioned properly without any issue. However, immediately after the warranty period expired, the copier became completely inoperative. We contacted the service team of Lalani Innovations and paid Rs. 1,800/- for inspection charges. After checking the machine, their technician informed us that there is a major issue with the motherboard and demanded approximately Rs. 38,000/- plus GST for repair.

Sir, we are ordinary middle-class people running a small shop, and this copier machine is our only source of livelihood. It is extremely disappointing that a globally reputed company like Canon provides a product that develops such a serious fault immediately after the warranty period ends. Paying more than half the machine’s cost for repairs within such a short time is unfair and financially impossible for us.

This situation feels highly unjust and has caused us severe mental and financial stress. We trusted the Canon brand for reliability and durability, but this experience has been very painful for us.

I humbly request the concerned senior authorities to kindly look into this matter seriously and provide a fair resolution, either through free repair, replacement support, or substantial concession in repair charges. Your immediate intervention will help protect the trust of common customers like us.
