Dear MakeMyTrip Support Team,
I hope you are doing well.
I am writing this email regarding our flight booking made through MakeMyTrip for my parents, Mr. Amar Bahadur Prajapati and Mrs. Sushila Prajapati. Unfortunately, due to sudden and serious medical conditions, both passengers have been declared medically unfit to travel by air by their treating doctor.
My mother, Mrs. Sushila Prajapati, is suffering from acute back pain and vertigo, while my father, Mr. Amar Bahadur Prajapati, is suffering from uncontrolled hypertension and chest pain. Both are known cases of Diabetes Mellitus and Dyslipidemia. As per the attached medical certificates issued by the doctor, they have been strictly advised complete bed rest and are specifically declared unfit for prolonged sitting and high-altitude air travel.
This situation was completely unforeseen and beyond our control. We had booked the tickets with genuine intent to travel, but due to their deteriorating health condition, travelling is now medically unsafe and impossible.
We kindly request you to consider this case under medical emergency grounds and process a full refund or maximum possible waiver/refund for the booking. We would sincerely appreciate your support and humanitarian consideration in this difficult situation.

We also attempted to contact customer care for assistance, however we were unable to receive proper resolution through the support channels, which is why we are reaching out through email for urgent consideration.
There is no proper human assitant available for help since all calls and mails are automated. This is urgent and valid reason for cancellation so please take it under consideration.
We humbly request you to escalate this matter to the concerned department and help us with the refund process at the earliest possible.
