Compoint Against: Flipkart India Pvt. Ltd. Order ID: 00337602741312069100 Product: Sansui 80L Desert Air Cooler IGLACIAL Complaint Detalls I purchased the above product from Flipkart and received a defective air cooler. The product was experiencing abnormal noise, water leakage/splashing and operational issues from the beginning. After raising the complaint, Flipkart repeatedly delayed resolution and caused unnecessary inconvenience. The technician visit was also delayed by several days despite the product being defective I had to make multiple follow-ups and spend significant time and effort pursuing the issue, causing mental stress and harassment. Even after the technician visit and verification, the return process has effectively been put on hold due to a serial number mismatch issue. The serial number physically printed on the product delivered by Flipkart is: AIC SANBOME01260345 However, when the same serial number is entered in the verification process, system displays "Please enter a valld Set Serial Number: This raises a serious concern because: The serial number is printed by the manufacturer on the product itselt. The product was supplied by Flipkart. The consumer has no control over the serial number assigned or recorded by the seller/platform. Flipkart is now treating its own delivered product as having an invallid serial number. If Flipkart's system does not recognize the serial number of the product it supplied, it creates a genuine concern regarding incorrect product mapping, inventory management fallure, or possible authenticity/traceability issues. The burden of such discrepancies cannot be placed on the consumer. The return and refund process is being delayed solely because of Filipkart's internal record mismatch, despite the defective condition of the product and the existence of a valid serial number on the unit. Relief Sought Immediate approval of return request. Pickup of the defective product without further delay. Full refund of the order amount. Investigation into the serial number mismatch issue.
