Complaint Details
I, Kevin Dsouza, purchased a property under the scheme name "Heaven Residency" situated at Thakursai Village, Taluka Maval, District Pune, Maharashtra, developed by The Mumbai Global Land Investment Limited. The company's office was located at DLH Park, 9th Floor, Office No. 905, S.V. Road, Opposite MTNL Building, Goregaon West, Mumbai – 400062.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was executed on 25 February 2014 for the purchase of Plot No. 322, admeasuring 1,250 square feet. Prior to the execution of the MOU, I had paid the full consideration amount of Rs. 2,86,000/- through payments made on 9 December 2013 and 31 December 2013.
Despite the passage of more than a decade since the execution of the MOU and payment of the full purchase consideration, I have neither received possession of the plot nor any update regarding the status of the project or my property. No satisfactory communication or explanation has been provided by the developer.
Repeated attempts to obtain information regarding the project and my plot have not yielded any response. I am therefore constrained to approach the concerned authorities for redressal.
I respectfully request that the matter be investigated and appropriate directions be issued to the developer to hand over possession of the plot without further delay or, alternatively, provide suitable relief and compensation in accordance with applicable laws.
