-Purchased the VARC 1000 online course from Career Launcher based on the information provided in the course brochure.
- After purchase, I discovered that the course's built-in tests can be attempted only once, which is a significant limitation for students preparing for competitive exams.
- This material restriction was not disclosed in the course brochure, on the course purchase page, or in the Student Rule Book
- On contacting Career Launcher, I was informed that this policy was mentioned in the Rule Book.
- However, after carefully reviewing the document, I could not find any such clause.
Students have the right to know such important usage restrictions before making a purchase.
- The absence of this disclosure prevents consumers from making an informed decision.
- I request the Commission to direct Career Launcher to clearly disclose all material limitations, including test attempt restrictions, on the course page, brochure, and terms & conditions before purchase, so that future students are not similarly misled.
