Complaint Details
I am filing this complaint against Yatra.com regarding the prolonged non-resolution of my eligible flight refund.

The issue began when my booked flights were cancelled by the airline. Following the cancellation, I contacted Air India/Air India Express to clarify my refund eligibility. The airline confirmed that I was eligible for a FULL REFUND for the cancelled flights and that the refund would be processed through the booking channel, Yatra.com.

Since then, I have been continuously following up with Yatra regarding the refund. Despite several calls and emails, the process has been unnecessarily prolonged and I have not received the refund or a clear explanation for the delay.

A detailed timeline is as follows:

• June 2026 – The airline cancelled the relevant flights. I contacted the airline regarding the cancellation and refund eligibility.

• Following the cancellation – Air India/Air India Express confirmed that I was eligible for a full refund for the cancelled flights and advised that the refund would be processed through the booking agency, Yatra.com.

• June–July 2026 – I repeatedly contacted Yatra through customer support and email regarding the refund. I was repeatedly asked to wait and was given different timelines, but the refund was not credited.

• 24 July 2026 – Yatra confirmed to me that the refund had been processed. However, despite this confirmation, the refund amount was not credited to my account and Yatra did not provide a proper transaction/NEFT/UTR reference that would allow me to verify the transfer.

• After 24 July 2026 – I continued following up with Yatra repeatedly through calls and emails. Instead of providing a concrete update or transaction details, I continued receiving generic responses stating that the matter had been forwarded/escalated and asking me to wait further.

• August 2026 – Despite repeated follow-ups and escalation requests, there was still no actual resolution. I continued receiving generic responses without a clear explanation of where the refund was, whether it had actually been transferred, or when I could expect the money to be credited.

• September 2026 – I am still following up regarding the same refund. Most recently, Yatra informed me that I would receive a callback within 2 hours regarding the refund status. No callback was received even after 16–17 hours. Since then, I have also been unable to get my calls connected to Yatra customer support.

The most frustrating aspect of this matter is that I am not being given a clear or consistent answer. I either receive no response or prolonged generic responses without any actual resolution. Even after Yatra itself confirmed on 24 July 2026 that the refund had been processed, I have still not received the refund or been provided with verifiable transaction details.

This prolonged delay and repeated failure to provide a proper resolution has caused significant frustration, stress and inconvenience. I have already spent considerable time and effort repeatedly contacting both the airline and Yatra to resolve an issue that should have been straightforward once the airline confirmed my eligibility for a full refund.

I request intervention in this matter and seek a proper resolution from Yatra, including:

Immediate release/credit of my full eligible refund.
Confirmation of the exact refund amount.
The actual date on which the refund was transferred.
NEFT/UTR/transaction reference details if Yatra claims that the refund has already been processed.
A clear written explanation for why the refund has still not been credited despite the 24 July 2026 processing confirmation.
An end to the repeated generic responses and a specific, actionable resolution to the complaint.

I am attaching the relevant flight cancellation records, Air India refund eligibility confirmation, Yatra refund communications, follow-up emails and other supporting documents as evidence.
