Complaint Details
I purchased a water purifier system, Aquaguard Total RO, Reviva, model from Eureka Forbes Ltd., on 18.06.2010. At that time I was using the same company's Aquaguard Classic model water purifier which I wanted to upgrade to RO model. The company's representative, Mr N. Kumaresh Naik, employee code no.9028500,tel no.9742827811, said that I would get Rs 1000/- for my existing Classic model on exchange. As my Classic model was on a 3 year AMC from 17.07.2008, till 16.07.2011, I asked whether that could be transferred to the new water purifier. He said that it was not possible to do that but since about 13 months of the AMC period was still uncovered, he would arrange to refund the proportional amount of approx. Rs 874.00.The AMC Contract Receipt No. is:15607811. The AMC amount is Rs 2475.00 for 3 years. Mr Kumaresh Naik collected my Classic model and the original AMC receipt. The new RO unit was installed on 19.06.2010 and Rs 1000.00 was refunded for the old model. But the amount of approx. Rs 874.00 for the uncovered AMC portion has not been paid till date(21.01.2011). In spite of repeated telephone calls to Mr. Kumaresh Naik, his manager MrGuranna Patil, tel. No.9844359340 and to the Sr DSM Mr Chenna Keshav, Tel. no.9341811120, no action has been taken by the company to re-imburse the balance AMC amount of approx. 874.00. Its 7 months since the purchase and the representatives are not responding. I request you to kindly register this complaint for necessary action.
