Complaint Details
We are using Eureka Forbes Water Purifier model INOVA. We have signed service contact with Eureka Forbes authorized dealership Mr. Nitin Pawar) Ekdant Services B 22 Balaji Prasanna Apt Ambegaon Pune – 411048 , contarct period 29/11/2008 to 28/11/2011, for this we have paid Rs. 2850/- by cheque no. 56299 ICICI Bank Bund Garden Road Pune. Under this contract Eureka Forbes Limited under take the responsibility of maintain the water purifier and free replacement of spare parts and periodical service of the water purifier. This contract is valid all over India.
April 2009, we shifted to Mumbai. Our change of address were informed to Mr. Nitin Pawar) Ekdant Services B 22 Balaji Prasanna Apt Ambegaon Pune – 411048 & call center no. 39 88 33 33.
From April 2009 to as date we have not received any service form Eureka Forbes Limited.
Periodically We have registered our complaint through call center for the replacement of filter (call ID 81551775 & 81773198). The Eureka Forbes Rep. attended the call and cleaned filter & went back by saying filter is not in stock will replace after 02 days time, complete one year time over but they have not replaced the filter.
Again 7/Jan/2011, we have registered the complaint through call center no. 39 88 33 33 (call ID 84148136). The Eureka Forbes Rep. attended the call on 8/Jan/ 201 and cleaned filter and went back by saying filter not in stock will replace after 2 days time. Today 22/Jan/2011 nobody form Eureka Fotbes turn up to replace the filter.
I have registered the complaint through website, but I have not received any reply form them. Also I have tried to contact them through call center twice, but only getting standard reply “we are forwarding your call to service department & service person will call you”. During the discussion with call center, I have informed them that I going to take legal action thorough consumer forum.
I have requested them to give company authorized person contact name and contact no. for that they have refused & also requested provide me all call details that also they refused.
This attitude of Eureka Forbes Limited wills causing us mental stress and health problem (last 2 years they have not replaced filter of water purifier). With this complaint, I want to register complaint in consumer forum to take proper action against the misguiding by giving service contract & also demanding the compensation of Rs. 100000/- for mental stress and water charges which was purchased form outside plus contract charge Rs.2850/-.
