Sir/Madam

I would like to bring to your notice fraud/unfair business practices being carried out by Hyundai Motors Pvt. Ltd. We are the unfortunate victims of these unfair practices and through your intervention, we pray that no other customer should suffer from the unfair practices.

Kindly refer to the newspaper advertisement in "Bombay Times" dt. 11.3.2012 on page no.11 and many such similar advertisements on various dates in various leading newspapers stating therein "BUY BEFORE THE BUDGET", Hyndai Next Gen i10 "Insurance + Gift cheque + Corp offer + Exchange(Rs. 20,000/- + Loyality Bonus(Rs.15,000/-) Total savings Rs.50,153/-.

With reference to above advertisement to avail the above benefits including that of loyalty benefits(Rs.15,000/-)(as I was the eligible owner of Hyundai Santro Car), I approached showroom of Hyundai Continental Motors at Chembur, Mumbai 400 071, when they agreed to pass on all the benefits as per newspaper advertisement including that of loyalty bonus to me and hence I paid the agreed sum of Rs.4,15,000/- for Era Model of Hyndai i10 and I paid the said amount via cheque no.662622 on ICICI Bank dated 19.3.2012 vide receipt no.20858 dt. 19.3.2012.

I was promised to get the delivery of the car on the day of Guddi Parvah on 23.6.2012. I had submitted all the necessary documents/proofs of registration of my previous Santro Hyundai Car and insurance(3rd party) to them on same day, but I am sorry to say they failed to give me delivery of the vehicle on Guddi Parvah day stating the reason for delay in registration of the vehicle at the RTO on their part.

However, on 30th March, 2012, I got the telephone message to approach them for the delivery of the vehicle. To my surprise when I approached them on that day when they checked the papers for delivery of the vehicle, they raised the objection that since the insurance of my previous Santro Hyundai Car was having only 3rd party insurance and not the comprehensive insurance. In view of which I am not entitled for the loyalty bonus of Rs.15,000/- as per the policy of Hyundai Motors Ltd.

I explained that there is no relation between loyalty bonus and having compulsarily the comprehensive insurance. And this condition was never mentioned in their newspaper advertisements and to me while on my personal visit to book the car 19.3.2012 but when I went to collect the delivery of the vehicle on 30.3.2012, they simply refused to give me the delivery and the benefit of loyalty bonus on the pretext that whatever papers I had submitted were showing 3rd party insurance and not the comprehensive insurance . I would like to bring to your notice that this is clear case of unfair business practices and cheating on the part of Hyundai Motors Ltd. To fool the customers and not to pass on the benefits to customers as mentioned in the advertisements by raising unnecessary foolish objections.
I was denied the delivery of the vehicle and I was asked to pay additional Rs.15,000/- in cash(in addition to Rs.4,15,000/- which I had paid at the time of booking).
In view of above, we were very much disturbed and to have the proper justice, we emailed the details and brought to the notice of main branch/head office of LA Motors/Hyundai Motors P. Ltd., but I am sorry to say that nobody listened to me and gave justice to me. Ultimately, I had to pay Rs.15,000/- as the additional sum in cash on 2.4.2012 vide receipt no.20885 dt.2.4.2012, and collected the delivery of the vehicle.
I want to report this unfortunate incident of injustice done to me under the unfair business practices/cheating/fraud by Hyundai Motors Ltd. I would like to request your good offices to kindly look into the matter and see that such wrong advertisement and unfair practices/cheating is not done to any other customers and I would like to request you to intervene into my case and see that I get proper justice(refund of rs 15000) of loyalty bonus from hyundai motors ltd.
