Complaint Details
Dear Sir,
I had booked a 32" FHD LCD TV(S/N: 2093ZNBB01309R, Model No.: LA32D580K4RMXL) on 9th June'2012 at Matrix Distributor India Pvt. Ltd.(Samsung Plaza), Thane. The TV was delivered on the same day with a broken Seal. I refused to accept the delivery, so the manager called me to ensure that the seal had been broken toverify the contents. Next day TV was installed by a personnel sent by Samsung. I noticed that the TV had dust on the upper back portion indicating that it had been mounted for a prolonged time. Doubting the condition of the TV I called an authorised Samsung Service Personnel to verify. On condition of anonimity, he showed me the service menu indicating the panel display time as 571 hours. He also pointed out that the normal value rangs from 100 to 150 Hrs. which means that the TV had been used for more than 3 months. When I approached the dealer, he spoke in a very insulting and uncivil, arrogant manner and asked me to Do what I could but he will not entertain my case. He further said that even if I complained to Samsung, they can't even touch him for the cheating. Later he said that he is willing to consider the matter only if I revealed the identity of the service personnel who showed me the service menu to which I have been consistently denying. I can't just reveal the identity of the person who honestly told me that I had been cheated. So kindly do not ask me for his identity. There is a nexus beween the dealer and the local service manager and he is harassing him sontinuously.
Hence I request you to kindly intervene in the matter and force the dealer to either replace the TV or give me refund. Please protect the rights of the loyal constumers and service personnel. Such dealers and some senior samsung service personnel are tarnishing the image of one of the most truusted brands of the world.
