Complaint Details
Admission to 5 year BBA LLB course was cancelled within 8 days of taking it.SNDT University,did not pay any part of Rs.10,000/- fee paid.
Had it been with Mumbai University, I woluld have got refund of Rs.9,500, even if I had cancelled my admission 20 days after starting of classes. Here, I have cancelled my admission well before starting of the classes.
Course Co-ordinator, Registrar, Vice-Chancellor and Chancellor, even after writing letter & reminders to some of them, never bothered to reply.
Even a letter under Right to Information Act went unreplied, when it was taken to 1st Appelliat Authority & Registrar of this university.
SNDT Women's University is prayed in ;my letter to follow University of Mumbai's Refund of Fees Ordinance No.2859,by University of Mumbai Circular No.UG/412 of 2008, which is fair enough to refund the fees to the students, who cancel their admission.
Attempt will be made to give this complaint in writing, along with copies of all the relevent doucments, at your camp at SNDT University, Juhu Campus, on Sunday,6th December,2009, at 4pm.If your persons are not available then, or not taking this colmplaint there, then it will be given to your office in fort, on Monday, 7th December,2009.
