I have unfortunately purchased the Aqua Sure product from Eureka Forbes bein induced by their self proclaimed expertise in the field of Water Purifiers.
The product was purchased in the end of December and was put to use from first week of January 2011.
From the begining the product malfunctioned and we had to register complaints with the corporate office at Bombay.
The fault with the product is that we do not get filtered water in the lower compartment. The capacity of the unit is said to be 20litres and so when one fills 9 or 10 lits in the upper compartment..normally it should get filtered in a couple of hours..where as this faulty product filters only 1 -2 liters in 10 hrs thereby rendering it completely useless.
We have made 2 complaints at corporate office. 1 complaint on eureka forbes website, following which I received a call from the local office, but no body came to attend the product and repair it.
In response to all the complaints, the product has been attended only once and even then the technician attending it bluntly told us that the filter only gives about 2 litres water in 10 hrs..so there is nothing wrong with it.
Apart from this there are also leakages from the tap and we are convinced that eureka forbes has passed off a defective product and has further audaciously failed to provide after sales service, thereby clearly coming under thepurview of deficiency of service.
We want a refund of our Money and action against the company.
