I had purchased a home security system from Eureka Forbes about a couple of years back. ne of the main reasons of purchasing it was the free life time service being offered. This was written in the contract with Eureka Forbes seal on it. However, whenever we try to contact them for a service we are told that they cannot provide free service. The salesman who had signed the contract has left. Now they are saying that if we need free service we have to bring the instrument to their service center to get it repaired. However, there are 3 components o the product - a camera, a controller and a lock - which can only be installed or uninstalled by experts. So, it would never be feasible to meet the request. In such a situation, as a consumer I feel completely cheated.
