Dear sir/madam,
I purchased a water bottle from The yellow chilli restaurant at Hub, G S road, Guwahati and it was charged more than MRP for the bottle. MRP was 20 INR and it was charged 35 INR. This rate was apart from VAT (@14.5%) and service tax (@4.94%). When I asked the restaurant person he says “If you want you take it and we sell at this rate only”. If they can fix their own rate then what is the meaning of MRP?
I request you to take necessary actions.
