Complaint Details
1. Online tickets booking between major stations has become almost impossible even if we book 30-45 days in advance, on weekdays.
2. Tatkal tickets too get over within 4-5 minutes when the online counter opens and tickets go into CKWL 30, CKWL 50 etc
3. Horrible of all, a CKWL ticket will get confirmed only if there is a tatkal cancellation. But, as per rules, tatkal ticket cancellation results in zero refund. So, why would anyone cancel? Which means why would the tatkal waitlist tickets move ahead in queue? What happens is, these tickets do not get confirmed and our money is locked up for 3-4 working days. The indian railways, this way collects and holds amounts of millions of passengers everyday. And never refunds with interest on that amount. It results in mental stress and also financial loss to customers at a large scale..
