Complaint Details
I seek your help in resolving my grievance for product G570 lenevo notebook. Efforts have been taken to reach Sr.Mgmt but in vain. Sharing the trail mail in recent times and the one written in Sep 13. Also attached is the invoice.
Summary of the problem being faced:-
1. On 23rd July 12 Purchased Lenevo laptop G570 solely on the brand name using cromaretail.com and features it offers and it same came with a warranty of 12 months. Price paid Rs.~34000/-
2. Nearing August 13 (i.e 13th Month of purchase) the body casing came out and plastic piece was broken. Lenevo contact centre over email and call was contacted and in Sep 13 got the casing replaced by paying another Rs.6200/-(Relevant mail attached)
Total Laptop cost paid is now 40K
Got to know from engineers that due to the metal body hinges issue is very common in this model and I should take care while opening and closing the laptop.This obviously pinched me and I was now reqd to pay price to keep my laptop running. At that time extended AMC option was also explored but to no avail.
3. This model is now not available in market.In June 14( 9 months after body casings got changed) again same issue of hinges coming out and then I visited paid service centre and again 6200/- is what i require to pay.
Request your help here.To keep my product up and running i need to shell 6K every 9 months?
This is total product failure and I have been given a defective product and request you to look into the matter and help me with option to return this set back to lenevo and replace with other working model may at some nominal cost.

As the product is out of warranty and no defect detected in Ist 12 months hence no liability arise and paid service centre will only help

Not interested to continue with the product and spend more money i.e 6400 each 9 months hence support reqd to take action by lenevo and replace this faulty product with any other model which should be free from such known defects
