BEST OF JOURNEY agency provided us the worst journey of our life. They made us suffer so much that we are forced to write this so that we get all our money back and this thing does not happen to any other family in future. Despite of the fact that I have undergone chemotherapy and need much more care, and paying for all the best of accommodations, we were cheated in the entire trip. A brief about the entire trip; We reached Delhi yesterday after a nightmare trip as planned by "Best of Journey" through Mr Avinash (08527963023) from 19th June to 27th June covering 3 Nights in OOTY (Taj Savoy), 1 Night in Bandipur (Windflower Resort), 1 Night in Mysore (Lalitha Palace) and 1 Night in Bangalore (Leela). Being a Cancer patient, right from the beginning I told Avinash and he confirmed that all the destinations planned will have the five star accommodations, only because of that we paid you such hefty amount for an Indian vacation one month in advance. One day before also he confirmed through his mail that all the destinations have been confirmed. To begin with after reaching Ooty we got a shock when the driver took us to some hotel other than the confirmed Taj Savoy Hotel. We tried contacting Avinash and BestofJourney office but all in vain. We had no option than to have a forced stay in that hotel. Next day we again tried contacting BestofJourney, luckily we could speak to Mr Shashank (98739-83375) who sounded ignorant and gave us an assurance that he will upgrade our room in the same hotel in lieu of the mistake. Since sitting at thousands of miles away we thought something is better so we agreed. But again adding to our misery when we checked at the reception the manager said that only inquiry was made to check the availability but no upgrade request has been made. Again we tried contacting Shashank but we were informed that the concerned is in a meeting and we were advised to call back after 2-3 hours. This was something which we could not take and we stopped calling BestofJourney and Avinash and tried to find pleasure in whatever we have as there was no other option. The above misery and pain was not enough that when we reached Bandipur our next destination we were informed that BestofJourney has not paid the hotel charges and we were made to talk to their Delhi DSA Mr Digvijay (9810890001) who clearly told us that despite of several commitments from BestofJourney side he has not received any payment. Leaving our vacations aside we had to call BestofJourney office again. Shashank told us that there is some misunderstanding between Mr Digvijay and the company and assured us that the issue will be cleared by morning. But we got a shock of life again when the manager gave us the bill during check out and told us that we will have to pay the bills as our travel company has not paid them any money. This was so embarrassing for us but had no option than to pay the bill. At this time all our vacation was over as we did not have any more stamina to get insulted and cheated at every planned destination. An unknown fear got in that something is going to happen in our next destinations also. So leave aside enjoyment we just wanted to complete the vacations and go back home. Cannot tell you after reaching home, the relief we felt after so much of cheating and harassment.
