Complaint Details
We made payment to upgrade Hathway Broadband plan on 14 June 2014. The existing plan was to expire on 18 June 2014. The payment contained 6 months advance payment of plan and payment to get new WiFi router.
First the plan was not activated till 22 June, even after repeated complaints and follow-ups. Then on 22 June 2014, the plan was activated, but WiFi router is still not received. We have been making repeated complaints. Today on complaining again, the customer care executive (Ashutosh Pandey) said that since the request was made today morning it will take 48 hours to connect the router. This is clear cheating because even when they have collected payment well in advance, they did not care to install it until I made repeated complaints. Hathway customer service has been pathetic with their replies as well.
