Complaint Details
Sir,
I bought a Bajaj water cooler in chandigarh on 02.05.2011. DC 2009 SLEEQ; Batch no. C 152 0411; Code no. 0104899; serial no. of the product 13976. The journey of harassment for me started soon after. In august 2011 itself the first fault occurred and complaint was registered. Since then till today every year it stops working for one or another reason. You can view the complaint history. I got the motor replaced from their authorized dealer "Sai Sales" in chandigarh. It again burnt and was replaced subsequently. Now for the third time motor has stopped functioning and I have registered a complaint. Every year in summer season it stops functioning and takes almost a week for repair. Once capacitor also got shot due to water. Last year I end up paying 1500 - 2000 rupees on this faulty product. This year again motor had a shot circuit and Service Center people are insisting that this is a out of warrant product and I will have to pay for the motor replacement. But either product design is faulty or this is a defective piece.I have talked to their customer care head but I don't agree with his logic being a reason for repeated shot circuit in motor ( 3 times in 3 years). Kindly resolve this case with proper analysis. I have written mail to customercare@bajajelectricals.com thrice in June 2014 (dated:17th, 21st & 30th)but no reply has been received. Bajaj people are not able to analyze the problem to fix it permanently in last three years. Going there way I would be paying 1500- 2000 rupees every year in future. What type of water cooler they have designed whose motor is not insulated from water which is the essential for cooling? I would like to mention the complaint number history for your reference: 429467 (10.08.11); 2569072 (2012); 2955925 (26.07.2013); 4903630 (2014). You are requested to kindly look into this as this is clear case of negligence on part of complaint redressal and after sale service.
