I booked online ticket for my parents out of which my father's ticket got confirmed but my mother's ticket was not confirmed. Though, my father was not aware, I asked him to contact the TTE asking to provide "TDR/TTE Certificate/GC", as my mother didn't travel, but the TTE shouted on him saying that he will not provide anything in written. My father called me and I talked to the TTE asking the certificate but her shouted on me on the phone as well and said that the refund will be automatically processed as it is eticket. We had no option and got convinced that if TTE is saying so, my money will be refunded. But, I didn't get my money back. Hence I filed TDR, but my TDR was rejected saying that 'Failed to collect TDR/TTE Certificate/GC' . The PNR number is #2731834826 for reference. My point is that we can't shout on the TTE as he is a govt. official else we can be detained and he shouted on me for politely asking for the certificate. Though its a small amount, its a matter of bad service provided to me and railways should take the responsibility for the same.
