Complaint Details
I had Samsung galaxy Note 3 neo, which i had given to Samsung care in Dadar (East). This phone was gifted to me from my relative and which was an imported piece. This piece had some defect in LCD on account of which display failed to perform. I approached Samsung gallery to get an expert advice for that and get the problem fixed. At that time the only problem which i faced was LCD display. So they told me since your phone was not purchased from India you will have to pay an additional cost for display to the company and your problem will be resolved. So I replied in affirmative to it and handed over my phone to them which took them 4 to 5 days to resolve the display issue. At the time of returning the phone back, i asked them if phone has any problem other than display they replied in negative and said if it is perfectly all right and you won’t have any problem after that. Next day i had a train to rajasthan so i was travelling and that time i found the phone was unable to get itself charge. So when i returned to Mumbai i approached Samsung gallery once again to get the problem fixed. So they told me that the problem is with ur socket and you will have to replace the same so they gave me a date after 4-5 days from then. When i went there she told me she was unable to resolve the issue since she had received the part which was supposed to be replaced on that day itself from the parent company. So she told me that i wont be able give you now you will have to wait for an hour atleast. Then i was waiting for an hour thinking that engineers would be working on the phone. So after an hour when i approached them they told me that since i am in a hurry they will hand over my cell phone back and will pay me my display cost and will fix the old non working display in place of the new display .So i asked her how much extra time she want to get it done. So she told me that she will need atleast 4 days to get it done. So i agreed to it and handed over my phone to her and against that they issued me an extra handset of Samsung and told to use the same for some time so i replied in affirmative. After 4 days when i went back to collect my phone then told me that problem was not with your socket, it was with the battery. They some how charged the battery and returned my phone and against which i had given them their handset back. But when i brought my cell phone home i found that i am facing the similar issue of charging. I went next day asking why i am getting the problem so she told me that she will need some more days to fix it so i had given her my cell phone and against which they issued me their Samsung phone to use it till the problem is resolved. But after few days when i went there to collect my cell phone they told me that they have misplaced it and asked to keep their phone in exchange of Samsung galaxy note 3 neo .So after keeping my note 3 neo for more than a month and changing almost every part of the phone they finally lost it.
I am writing this complain to the consumer forum to claim the cost the following mentioned items
1. Samsung Galaxy note 3 neo – Cost Rs 38000
2. Cost which i incurred to get the display replaced ( which is approx. 8000 Rs ) and battery cost which is Rs 2000
3. and in addition of that 1 lakhs rupee for the time , energy and the client I lost because of the careless ness from Samsung gallery’s end which I had incurred to collect and again re submit my phone to them.
Total Claim amount is 1,48,000 INR
