Sirs,
I have requested for service of my Aquaguard Reviva water purifier on March 04, 2011 by calling the Euro Helpline on number 3988333. That day evening the service person arrived and attended to my requirement. He advised me to change the cartridge since it was almost one year after it was changed. However, I had no complaints about the water quality that was very good. He replaced the cartridges and left. After he had left, I drained the water as was advised and allowed the tank to fill. Then I tasted the water but to my disappointment, it tasted awful and made a stark contrast with the quality of water before the cartridges were replaced. I lodged a complaint the next day by calling the same Euro Helpline. I was assured that my complaint would be attended to and resolved. But no one came to attend to the problem. Meanwhile, I have made a 'stop-payment request' to my bank so that, the service center could get paid after satisfactory service. But the service center did not bother to ask me as why I have stopped payment of the cheque. Till this day (March 12, 2011) the service center has not addressed this complaint. Now, I am stuck with the cartridges that appear to be already used ones. I do not have any other option to continue to consume the poor quality of water.

This problem is not the first one. I have bought my Aquaguard Reviva water purifier in December 2006 and after that, I have replaced the cartridges four times including the present one. Except the one change in 2010, all the rest, in 2008, 2009 and 2011, appear to have been fitted with used cartridges. Judging by the behaviour of the service center, my doubts get confirmed. We do not have any other source for purchasing the cartridges and have to depend on the service centers and they take the innocent consumers for a ride like this. I do not know for how long this malpractice is going on.

I request you to kindly investigate this kind of malpractice and give solace to the innocent consumers.
