I purchased Micromax Canvas Fun (A 74) on 4th December, 2013 from Greet N Gift, Saket invoice no. 2856.
The phone started giving problems with regards to the touch panel and software in June'14.
I gave the phone for repair to the nearest registered service center - Vaishno Communications in Malviya Nagar on 8th July. Job sheet No. - *N030681-0714-10715463*. (Job Sheet attached)
It was informed that the phone would be returned within maximum 2 days. I called up on 10th July and was told that it will take some time since it has been sent somewhere as they didn't have the required parts. I called up again on 16th, the person named Devender told me that it is pending and will take some more time. On asking for a quick response, he asked to call back again in a week's time till then he will get it repaired on priority basis.
I called up again on 23rd July and much to my surprise, the response was same from that person. The phone is not ready, parts not available, phone sent to the head office for repair, wait for another week.
Having lost the faith on whatever he is saying, I called up the customer care number and got a complaint logged there, complaint number - 2307148986 and was told that somebody will call you back soon to inform you about the status.
Have also sent e-mails to their service id - service.superfone@micromaxinfo.com.
Haven't heard from the customer care or the service center yet. I have spoken to so many people at micromax during this time and staff is just so unprofessional and doesn't know how to talk. To name few:
Devender at the service center is the one with whom I interacted the most, has been making false promises and always tried to dodge the issue by asking to wait.
Another girl Pooja at the service center is purely unprofessional, doesn't know how to talk to the customers at all.
Even at the customer care, I spoke to Neha Vashisht and Madhu Singh(Senior Executive) who are equally obnoxious and unhelpful.
On calling them repeatedly, I have been getting the same response to wait for 7days, 15days and so on.
The phone is lying with the service center for 25 days now and their policy doesn't have a feature of providing an alternate phone to the customer while the fault is being resolved. This is creating hell lot of problems for me and the stupid, unprofessional and just nonsense service of the staff is adding to the trauma.
