I purchased 2 Daikin inverter ACs (FTKV50) and stabilisers from Citicool Corporation (13 Jain Mandir Mkt, South Ex Part 2, ND 49 / Tel. 011 26254646) on 6 May 2013 for Rs. 88,000 inc. taxes Soon after installation, both ACs started having problems - either a leakage, fan not working, swing vent not working, or AC simply not working. So the first service visit was required by 24 June 2013, just a month after purchase. Subsequently we have had to call for service 8 other times, making it a total of 9 visits in just over a year. Bear in mind that we are not always in Delhi so the ACs are not constantly used. From the very beginning I requested the dealer to replace both ACs as they seemed faulty, causing us so many problems. The damage from seepage in walls has been continual. Mr. Arshad at Citicool said he could not do anything. On his advice I wrote to Mr. Nitesh Goel a manager at Daikin (email sent on 03 October 2013 to niteshgoel@daikinindia.com and copied to citicool@gmail.com ) - detailing the problems and requesting replacements. I received no reply. Finally the warranty ran out this year and one of the ACs is completely now non-functional, after causing extensive damage to walls. We are told the plates need replacing which will cost Rs. 18,000 (over 50% of the cost of the product). This is unacceptable. We were clearly supplied sub-standard faulty products and from the start our requests for replacements were ignored, causing much inconvenience as well as damage to our home. I request you to enforce the replacement of both faulty ACs by Daikin and/or Citicool Corp., immediately. Or a full refund plus damages pertaining to seepage and other issues.
