Complaint Details
I have a saving account with SBI,Tadong Branch in Sikkim. I have opened FDs online as the facilities are there. But, when I opt for Senior citizens rate of interest by ticking the appropriate box provided on the site, it disallows the FD.
I submitted my complaint several times online, but each time I received a reply after a weak or so that the matter has been resolved when actually it wasn’t.
I talked to my branch manager who sincerely tried his best by sending even the SCREEN PRINTS of pages to their technical section, but he also received the same reply. Even he re-entered my date of birth and PAN number refreshed the page but no avail.
I have downloaded the Android application ‘State Bank Anywhere’ and tried to open FD/RD opting for sr. citizen rate of interest, but again the same result.
As a result I am losing my interest at the lethargic attitude of the Bank.
I am intentionally not providing my A/c number for the reasons of security.
