Complaint Details
I booked an International Holiday trip for Mauritius with Yatra.com. Tushar kaushik, Travel Consultant of Yatra.com gave me trip details via mail and asked me to submit initial booking amount of 30k Rs. Here are the details:

I did online bank transfer and amount got deducted but I never received any confirmation email of booking neither flight ticket copy etc. Later after few hours due to family reason I tried to cancel my booking with same agent and then Tushar Kaushik mentally harassed me by saying that your amount will not be refunded and you also need to pay 60k more as Yatra.com booked non refundable tickets. He pissed me off by saying if I’ll not pay the rest of the amount then yatra agent will take rest of the money by any means. I don’t understand how an agent can talk so roughly and where in the website it is mentioned I need to pay this much amount. I never received booking/ flight ticket confirmation email.


Also in the website its clearly mentioned that any trip can be cancelled within 2 days of booking free of cost. And I called them within 4 hours. And for other its clearly mentioned on Yatra.com website under cancellation policy i.e. Prior to 30 days or more - Non - refundable deposit of Rs.10,000 per person.


I want my money back with immediate effect and I want to be compensated for the grievance I have undergone, i am left with no options thanks to Yatra.com
