Dear Sir/Madam,
Would like to request you to kindly consider my plea towards the failure of service by ICICI bank Adambakkam branch.
Important Facts about my plea :
• I saved money from past 1 year to take all my immediate family members to an abroad trip for the first time in their life (7 family members – Self, wife, Daughter, Dad, Mom, Father in law & Mother in law)
• To save money I booked flight tickets in advance for a travel date of 14th May I booked tickets on 24th March & 5th Apr 2013(which is 51 days and 39 days respectively)
• I had planned to carry INR 1,10,000/- equallant Singapore Dollar for the local tourist visits which was planned for 4 days completely (entry tickets, local cab and consumables) and INR 40,000/- equalant Singapore dollars through travel card for the Room Accommodation for the parents and self.
• I had given a standing instructions to the bank to transfer 40,000/- rupees to the travel card on 14th May 2015. And they committed that the same will be activated by 15th April 2013. after reaching it was not active and I had to give 880 Singapore Dollars (40,000 Rupees) and that cut my cash in hand from 2,400 singapore dollars to 1,545 singapore dollars
• I was short of INR 40,000 equallant Singapore dollars. Which made me to cancel most of the important tourist spots in Singapore like Universal Studio, Night Safari and lot of other rides was also cancelled as I had to manage with the money I had in hand and most importantly that I had to say in my friend’s friend place to save money and they were not prepared for the same and had to request them for a favour which was very delicate situation for me, my wife and kid.
• I tried the travel card for all the places I visited on 15th, 16th, 17th May also and still it was not active
• I had to speak my friend’s friend for money and as he was also not having the cash as he needed some to manage the mid-month expenses and he had to arrange it from his colleagues which gave me the worst experience for the total trip.
And my family members expectation were put down during this entire process as they had plans to purchase gifts for relatives and due to this incident they skipped the purchase not knowing as to how much more money I might require for the rest of the days. i didn’t carry my laplop or phone and mailed them with the help of my friends there.
I would request you to kindly take this up seriously and I would like to get the compensation for my entire trip (which costed me 5,00,000 INR) due to ICICI Bank false commitment, me and my entire family had to face lot of embarrassments from my friends and disgrace during the first ever aboard trip. would like to ensure that I take my family again to make them see places which they were not and provide a gift to the friends and friend’s colleague who lend their helping hands during the crisis

1. Travel tickets (14th May night 10.45pm departure and return 19th may morning 7.30am)
2. Cash given on 14th May evening at office and remitted only on 16th May the e-statement is given below
3. Decline proof of the card receipt is attached below the e-statement. And in other machines the message was card declined for which we will not be able to get any receipt
Will request your help to give me justice in this plea of a customer who has experienced lot of embarrassments, discomfort, humiliation for having trusted ICICI bank
