Re.: SBA frozen without intimation. Without reason. ECS rejected. What a harassing bank.
It was shocking to find that BOB (Bank of Baroda, Nariman Point Branch, Mumbai 400021) has frozen our SBA….7425; all of a sudden without any reason or information/intimation to us. And consequently they had illegally rejected the ECS payment of Bombay Dyeing too, brining hell of the troubles/trauma and monetary loss to us. On enquiry they shamelessly say that in the absence of KYC, our account was frozen by this bank. What an excellent customer friendly is the Bank of Baroda.
At the time of opening the SBA, all the necessary documents/KYC are submitted to the bank and then only they open the account. And later if at all they again want any KYC, they are legally bound to intimate us before taking any drastic action of freezing our account, which they never did. They could have informed us thru email or SMS too. Nothing they did but cruelly froze the account. And when we demanded they failed to bring us any evidence to prove any intimation sent by them to us; for which they are legally liable to do before they could act in such a harsh way.
Their such unwarranted action had put us in hell of the troubles and monetarily loss for which we hold the bank legally liable to pay heavy compensation for all the consequence we face from their such drastic and illegal and monopolized action. No point in keeping any account with such a bank.– R K Agarwal
