Hi, This complaint is regarding a Fraud company named Hathway Broadband. I had taken a new connection with Hathway under an unlimited data plan. I had paid them in advance for 3 months. In the initial one month when I used the service, it was horrible. The internet was not working for 5 days 7 everytime I called customer care they kept telling me that they will send an engineer within the next 24 hours. After 5 days, I somehow managed to get the engineer's number on my own & called him to fix the issue. After that I shifted to a new address & asked hathway to transfer my connection to the new address, to which they said, they cannot shift the connection as there is no service in the new area. I asked them to disconnect the service & give the refund for 2 months. They asked for 2 working days to do this. It has now been 20 days. The issue has not been resolved, my connection is still active as per their system. Not only did I not get the refund, I also am getting bills every monthm inspite of pre-paying them for 3 months.
I request you all please DO NOT TAKE HATHWAY CONNECTION, rather just throw your money away, it will atleast spare you the trouble of talking to customer care from day 1 of taking the connection. It is the worst broadband company that i have ever dealt with. Their customer care is just 5 people - named Shahrukh, Amir, Irfan & other celebrity names. Their customer service is a joke, They just say "I Apologise, this issue will be resolved in the next 24 hours" & then you call them again after 24 hours to hear the same thing again. Please, I repeat, STAY AWAY FROM HATHWAY.
