Dear sir/Madam, I wish to express my strong anger over RTO department .Please be informed that I purchased my bike( Yamaha Moter Cycle,150 cc ,model SZR number - TN22BQ7418) from Chennai , Tamilnadu .I brought it to Maharastra in 2011 with all formalities completed .I.e. I paid octrai and I visited regional RTO office and paid one time road tax as well .I was told that with road tax paid , I can drive my bike in Maharastra but every now and then traffic policemen catches me and threatens me for driving TN registered bike .I even show them road tax receipt but they dont leave me without taking couple of hundred rupees from me .I am fade up of paying money to them .I tried to visit RTO for registering MH number but every time I am sent back citing long tiring procedures .Many times officers are absent .All RTO is full of is agents who propose to charge whopping amount for getting this work done . Please note that I have all necessary documents with me .I am attaching road tax receipt copy with this . Please let me know 2 things ,I have paid OTT road tax so can I drive my bike with TN number in Maharastra without paying any penalty AND Why RTO is full of agents and proper officer is never present on his/her seat . Please advice .
